My name is Mary and this is my first semester in the Masters in Allied Health program at ETSU.
My BS degree is in Business Management. I worked as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and then a Business Analyst
in the Insurance Industry for a number of years. After getting married and having two boys (now ages 8 and 6), I decided
to change careers by going back to school to get my Dental Hygiene degree.
I currently work as a Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts. The reason I've decided to pursue the MSAH degree is to
work towards a teaching position at a Dental Hygiene school. I don't want to give up my clinical work, but I do want
to give myself more options for the future.
